Dental implants are suitable for patients who have lost their tooth due to an injury or periodontal disease. The dental implant is made of titanium, does not cause any allergic reactions and is 100% compatible with the human body.

Dental implants are titanium screws which are gently inserted into the patient’s jaw bone.
After the healing time, a titanium abutment is placed on the implant with a ceramic or metal-ceramic crown.

Types of dental implants

There are many brands and types of implants in the world made of different quality. At the dental clinic Dr. Martin we use two high-quality brands that are global leaders in the dental implant market.

The Swiss company Straumann specialized in the production of implants built its reputation on a history of innovation and reliable scientific research thanks to which the implants bond faster with the bone and gum tissue of the patient. This underlines Straumann’s leading position in the implant market.

The OKTAGON® implant system from German Meisinger provides high primary stability and, thanks to its two-phase titanium implant technology, eliminates any micro-movements of the implant. It is protected from bacteria and the experience shows that the Meisinger implants achieve great long-lasting results and excellent durability.

The dental implant crown can be made of ceramic or metal-ceramic material that attaches to the inserted implant through the abutment. Once the crown is in place, the patient can get back to feeling like it is a natural tooth.

Complete restoration with the all-on-4/6 implantation method, All-on-4 and All-on-6 are popular and cost-effective methods in case the patient needs to undergo a comprehensive dental reconstruction. During the procedure, four to six implants are inserted into the patient’s jawbone and a fixed prosthesis with 10 to 14 teeth is then placed on them. This results in a positive effect on a patient’s confidence and quality of life thanks to the new aesthetic and fully functional teeth.

Five-year warranty

A standard five-year warranty applies to all operations. As a general rule, dental implants behave just like natural teeth, but they will last much longer.
